We had an absolutely fantastic day out with Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters. Four of us went out – my wife and I, my son and his girlfriend – on a full day charter and had a great day! The skipper and deckie were knowledgeable, friendly and they worked hard to ensure that everyone on board caught fish. The boat was well equipped and clean and from the moment we stepped on board we felt that we were in good hands. The boat raised a marlin that we managed to tag and then we all caught our bag limit of top quality fish that were cleaned and filleted for us at the end of the day.

Bloody fantastic fishing charter, lots of laughs and a very helpful crew. Made to feel very confident on my first ever fishing charter experience. Thanks guys, we wouldn’t hesitate to book another charter through Mahi Mahi.

We had a fantastic day fishing last Friday. The Skipper and Deckies looked after us so well and put us right on the spots for great fishing. 10 fishing made great room for everyone to enjoy their day on such a beautiful big boat. Plenty of fish for everyone after the boat bagged out. Us Queenslanders now have some delicious reef fish to eat on our continuing journey down the west coast. Beautiful Western Australia. Thank you so much for looking after us! Cheers, Joan and John.Facebook review – 22 October 2017
Was a little apprehensive about going on a fishing charter but it was the best thing I have done for ages. The staff and crew were amazing and we all walked away with huge smiles on our faces and I caught my first Red Emperor Yay! Winning. Highly recommend these guys you won’t be disappointed.

Charter skipper Bernie Vale has done it again.
Widely regarded as one of the best in the business in WA, he continues to put his clients on to good fish out of his Coral Bay base.
John McIntosh, 71, was one of 10 fisherman from the Dalkeith Bowling Club to enjoy a superb four-day charter with Bernie’s Mahi Mahi. John, a former Claremont and St Kilda footballer and the father of former Eagles defender Ashley, has long been a keen angler and reckoned it was the best fishing trip he’d been on, which is not suprising given they caught 15 Red Emperor over the four days.
The best of them came in at 8.6kg and was pulled from 80m of water using trusty Shimano TLD 25. It was a lovely trophy red and John has won a Squidgy pack that he can collect from any of Compleat Angler’s three WA shops. He is in the running to win the monthly prize of a Shirmano rod and reel combo.
